hello, I have bought a new tortoise today unfortunately I am struggling with names as I do not know the sex of my horsefield! I have read you can tell by the tail? Can anyone give me their opinions ??

To sex a tortoise, we need a good clear photo of the underside of your tort including the tail.

We also need to know its Straight Carapace Length (SCL) as they all look female when they're small!

How old is it? Right now looking female by just the tail. But too young of ones all look like females. We need to know the size/age and a pic of the tail with bottom shell
