Hi, I just got a third turtle (yellow bellied slider) from my cousin, she had him in one of those plastic bowl things with a palm tree , but I bought him from her and got him a ten gallon and I'm going to move him into my 20 gallon when I get my red eared sliders a bigger tank. Also, is the yellow bellied sliders care the same as red eared sliders? Thanks!

Very cute! I THINK they take the same care, but I'm not a water turtle person.

Yep! They are the same species actually, just different subspecies. Trachemys scripta elegans (RES) and Trachemys scripta scripta (YBS).

Love the name dude. I think the next time I have to name a stud breeder male, I'm just gonna name him dude. Or maybe THE Dude.
