Hello!!!
I'm looking for new ideas about the substrate of our RF Dobby's habitat.

This is her habitat.
Where the CHE lamp is, is a wood bark and the rest is cypress mulch. The wall where the CHE is on is going off to put the big wood cave there and the small one where the big one is on the photo. My plans is to use some kind of dirt for Dobby!

This end of the table is where I want it to be dirt.
Now, my questions is if it is okay to use dirt for my RF and what type of dirt is best for her and how deep the substrate can it be for her. She is a 5" shell, 437g.
Thanks!!!

Dirt is fine. If you're going to buy it make sure it doesn't have those little white beads (perlite) or any fertilizers or pesticides. You can also dig a hole someplace in your yard that hasn't been sprayed, and get some clean dirt from down in the hole.

And my simple question is If I can change to this cypress mulch?

This cypress mulch is from Home Depot and it says is an all natural and it is three times the size of the bag for a lot less in the price.

Yeah?! Cause here in Puerto Rico there is only Petsmart and Petco the ones that sells good reptile products, but are very expensive and this mulch from Home depot I know is for decorating a yard or for plants but is pretty clean and it only cost $5.44 and I can only use one bag for Dobbys habitat instead the one petsmart have cost me nearly $7.00 a bag and I need 3 bags to fill up the habitat.
