can I just use my daytime light at night time as well??

Your tort needs to sleep in the dark. No light.

If you can't get it warm enough then you will need to buy a Ceramic Heat Emitter (CHE)

May you send me a link so I can get the correct one?? I've been reading and seeing no red bulbs

CHEs give out heat with no light. Run them on a thermostat to maintain your ambient about 80 day and night. Thermostats are about $30.

I would not use that hide the door is too big and it will let all your humidity out. Walmart sells black dishwashing tubs for $1.82. Flip it upside down and cut out a small door hole and you are all set.
