I love the spots on those turtles! I have a special liking for the soft shell group, and I think this is one of the prettier species.

So awesome. The worldwide softshell groups are one of the most intriguing topics to me.

I'd rather keep 50 small turtles in the space a couple of those bad boys would take up!

They really are great though. So gorgeous! Congratulations on the group.

For those of us that don't know, how much space do these guys need? How big do they get?

Up to 120 centimeters. Thats like 4 feet. They can lay over 100 eggs in a single clutch.

Unless you routinely ride on the back of a leatherback sea turtle, you'd think these guys are huge!

Won't find much..... There's not much googleable info on these guys.

Anthony, this makes me wonder which google are you using, or maybe what is your expectation? I find lots in the general web search, in google scholar, and in google images, even a few correctly identified videos on YouTube.

These are often encountered at sea, at depths that indicate they commonly are semi marine species. Marine fish have been found in their git contents as well.

Fun stuff.

I found enough to wow me. Some pictures with people in the same shot give me a great idea of their size!
Obviously I couldn't find much, well anything, in the way of a care sheet lol

Perhaps my google isn't googling in an acceptable capacity.

They are great though. And I did find info, but no recorded weights for them.
