If you use some coir, you can grow seeds right in it. Also, be very careful of the clamp on the light. Many have failed and then burns tort or starts fire. See if you can figure a way to hang it. A few plants would help make him/her feel more safe and comfortable too.

I agree! I change thing , then I change them, then I change them some more. I enjoy coming up with new ideas and getting new torts so I can build some more !

The clamp is very strong. I am thinking of switching to cypress once he gets a little bit bigger. I could put off a section for dirt and plant some plants in the dirt. Would that work?
