Trying to figure out what I should do with Tortue's table.. We live in an old house, very old, and the windows are terrible. Pretty sure mine has a slight hole or slit at the bottom. (We rent as we're college students.) I have a tiny room so not much room to maneuver her table to a different spot. There's a dog so I don't want to put her table on the ground either. So what do I do? Get an extra heat lamp but just a 60 watt?

The table is 4x2 feet. I have a clamp lamp (it works great no slipping as I added zip ties, it's not gonna start a fire) with a 100 watt CHE at one end of the enclosure (for the 100 degree basking part). Should I add another in the middle that's just a 60 watt and not point it straight down? Would you think that would keep it warm enough?

Open to other ideas :)

By the way I live in Iowa.. in Cedar Falls to be exact where it gets COLDDDDDDDDDDD. Snowy and icy.

Buy the shrink wrap for windows. Menards, home depot carries it. I believe it's put out by 3M. You tape it to window with two way tape provided and attach the plastic also provided. Then use a hair dryer to shrink it. Problem solved cheaper then another heat light.

Yes, cover 2/3 of the enclosure with what Barb suggested, or a sheet of plexiglass. Your lights can be on the 1/3 open warm side, but you won't lose as much heat.
