One of my best friends

This is my guy. I LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE this little tortoise. He comes to me when I tap on things. He will respond to his name 95% of the time, whether it's to click at me or just a look, I KNOW he knows his name.
He walks up to me to greet me (most likely because he wants food, but whatever).
I just ADORE him.

I caught him on the ledge of his food dish tonight.

"Whutchu mean I haf sumtin on mai face?"

Here he is in his groovy jacuzzi (spoiled tortoise):

"NOMZ!"

"mmm...s'cuse me? I haf sumtin in mai eye."

I take him outside and hang out with him, and he is just seriously a GREAT little guy.
I always tell my husband that if God fell from the sky and said I could only keep ONE reptile, I'd keep Stagger Lee.

I never thought I could love a reptile so much.

I know what you mean when you say you never thought you could love a reptile so much. I've only had my Russian tortoise hatchling for 3 days and I'm already IN LOVE with him.

Poor little lizzards, I bet they plotting Stagger Lee's fate!! lol.. You better keep an eye on him.. They out number him omg over 10 to 1 .. lol

I think he's soo funny!! He is sooo outgoing too which is so fun for you..
Olive is shy unless there is any kind of morcel of food about then she is VERY outgoing..haha... She makes me laugh too though, outside today she got some grass kind of caught on her I was saying "what are you doing!!" while laughing hysterically at her and I KNOW my neighbours will think I have totally lost the plot.. because A. You cant' see Olive in the grass,.. B. I have been under a lot of stress lately.. lol....
I love Stagger I could look at pictures and read his goings on all day long...
Olive makes my family soo complete I'm so happy too......
I know the gecko's are all crying and stuff but they'll get over it....

I think the same thing every time I bring Nelson outside There is a big field behind my house that is surrounded by houses. Yesterday my mom, sister, and I sat outside in the field watching Nelson roam around. I know it must have looked so weird if any of my neighbors looked outside!
We were all staring at the ground...I was taking pictures...

Chewy, What wonderful pics of Stagger. He is growing up to be such a big boy. I love the jaquzi tub. Make me think he is at the spa. Nkothing like having breakfast while you bathe Congrats on a beautiful, uh humm Handsom Cherry.
