This is a winter indoor habitat that I acquired for my Russies. I has three separate habitats which pull out like drawers and is temp/humidity and uvb/uva controlled. Not as good as outside but a nice place for the winter
That looks really nice. I just got something similar off of craigslist, but without all the bells and whistles. It has UV fixtures, but we will have to wire it for heat, and monitor and adjust it by hand. Mine has the glass slide doors instead of drawers. They look so much better than the bins stacked everywhere. Where did you get yours?
It was donated to the reptile rescue where i got my sulcata from. A petsmart or petco was getting new ones and they donated this one to the rescue. The rescue was in need of cash a lot more than they needed the habitat and they had no place to put it anyway so i was able to buy it... which was a great find for me and some much needed cash for the rescue folks.
It's funny I saw that and my thought was, "It looks like a Petco or Petsmart style". I like it. Looks very clean, yet so functional and fits into the look of your house. A great focal point!
I think we sit and watch the russies about as much as the TV. It is definitely a focal point in the house. When we moved from Iowa, the only thing the movers loaded that was heavier than the habitat was my car
Haha, and my husband complained about moving the one we just got, which was nothing compared to that. Seeing yours makes me excited to get ours finished and set up.
