One year old

i haven't posted in a long time, but wanted to share that one year ago today, I brought home a tiny little sulcata named Pancake. Aside from the razor sharp nails she has acquired, Pancake is doing great. She is about triple the size and the best pet ever!

Here she is reenacting her favorite scene from Big while waiting for her nightly spa treatment.

I have a 19 month old niece who I'm grooming to take over Pancakes care when I'm much older. I let her do the two finger touch and if everyone is calm hold her for a minute (super close supervision and anti bacterial soap of course). She adores Pancake. She picks up rocks from the yard, cradles, hugs, and and pets them, saying "torta torta"
