Orchids for redfoots?

Hello, a friend of mine at work just gave me 3 orchid flowers for my 2 redfoots. I can't seen to find n e thing knowledgeable about feeding these to torts... Some say they have some say they don't. Anyone care to comment b4 i go home for lunch and drop them off there snack????
