I have a Russian tortoise and am interested in getting another reptile but would prefer not to have to get another enclosure. I know that you are not supposed to keep two Russians together, but are there any other tortoises or reptiles that would be okay living with my Russian? He is still very young. Any info helps! Thanks!

I would not recommend putting any other living thing (other than bugs that could help with the substrate ) in with your tort. Some one more experienced will come along though and give there opinion.

No other torts in the same pen is bad and two RT are bad but 3 or more are ok good luck !

Yes mixing species, or even types of reptiles, is always a bad idea.
