I realized I didn’t have a place for updates specific to Otsokrikri. I made his first post in Introductions over a year ago, so I thought I’d keep a separate thread for him here. We have had our Eastern Hermann’s Otsokrikri (name means March in Ga) since September 11, 2019. We are unsure of his age as we were given wrong information from the local pet store who brought him in for me. He was “special ordered” as a captive bread juvenile, but he probably is not ( side note, the seller also told me he was a Western Hermann’s, so I sent pictures to Chris L., who confirmed he was an Eastern, probably a mix of boettgeri & hercegovinensis).
I weigh him from time to time since he is a picky eater. Today he was 394 g. He’s about 4 1/2 inches long.
He’s doing pretty well, though I do wonder if he is indeed a juvenile because he seems small to me. Anywho, hopefully I’ll remember to keep updates on him here too...the kids are telling me I’m biased and favor my leopard ?.
The picture of 4 is from when we first got him. The other are today of him running away to hide.
