I've had my Russian Tortoise for around 6 months now, and we finished with the outdoor enclosure just when it was warm enough to go out. My question is, what accessories will we need? I have two hiding places and a pile of hay (I know Russian Torts don't eat it but he likes to burrow in it) right now. Do we need things like ferns for shade?

Shade should be provided along with a water dish big enough for him to get into. Plants are nice for them to hide under and usually can be cooler then hides.

Thanks, as you probably saw from my other post that you replied to, I might not hibernate him this year, and with a heating system in the greenhouse he should get through winter just fine :).
