Hello, perhaps this has been answered before.

Do you stain or seal the interior of your homes? Or just leave the bare plywood?

We will be priming and painting the exterior of our newly built home shortly but I wanted to see what you typically do for the walls or floor inside, if anything.

Our box is for a Sulcata.

Hi Ashley! I leave the insides of most of my boxes bare plywood. These boxes last for a couple of decades this way in my climate, and your climate is similar. I use some dry dirt as a thin layer of substrate, and clean up as needed with a flat head shovel.
