What colour is panacure? Today when I took a look at it, it was nearly clear in colour but I remember before it was white in colour so I gave the vet a ring to check just to make sure they didn't give me the wrong medicine and they were pretty sure they gave me panacure.

I think it depends upon what kind you buy. It comes in a powder that the vet re-hydrates for you, to a liquid, and that is clear. Or it comes in a paste that is white.
I took it back to the vet to have it exchanged, they said maybe it's because I had it in the fridge and I told them even my previous batch was kept in the fridge and it never turned clear. They didn't comment much and just swapped it for another.
People have highly educated pharmacists who regulate our drugs. Vets seem to have lab techs and clerks regulate drugs.
A few years ago I got Baytril from my vet for my Chameleon, it was clear. When I returned for a refill it was very different stuff. When I asked the vet why the differance, her answer was I'll look into it. I never did get a satisfactory answer, but I did get a dead Chameleon!
