peeling skin on neck

My 4 month old baby russian has a lot of peeling skin on the neck. Is this normal? do they shed there skin as they grow??

its perfectly normal, your baby is just shedding, don't pull on it, it will come away in its own time

That answers question I always had. I have never observed it on RFs but thought there had to be a shed on torts like other reptiles.

you can just see some on this pic at top of leg and around face i will try and get a better shot tomorrow.

My Hermann's has been shedding around his neck for a few weeks now. At first I was so worried! Then I read online that it was normal - phew!

yeah, my Hermann's is shedding on the neck to. after all, torts are reptiles.
