I really need to dig up my digital camera; I've been using my camera phone! lol
Anyway, here are my photos of Penny!
here's her, the day we got her:
and here she is, in September:
and here's a fairly blurry photo of her, dozing by her moss (apparently, so long as she's in moss, she's hidden... tortoise logic).
Though the moss looks GREAT! Oh, and she's lying next to a wine bottle cork.
Matt and I were looking at the difference between the first day, and today. I'm impressed there's a change! I'll try to get photos of her when she's awake, but she's such a bundle of activity!
I noticed there's some pyramiding, but I think that was because we started out keeping her dry as a bone (with water available at all times, but the humidity was pretty much nil).
Since boosting the humidity and heat, she has had two growth spurts, and the new growth is glossy like a hair in a shampoo commercial!
oh yeah: this one's blurry as heck, but the attitude still comes across.
Penny is ALL attitude! lol
it's terrible how the photos look fine on the phone, and turn out to be terrible...
