When I was first looking at the pictures, I was envious that your girl was outside, so I checked where you lived. :rolleyes: :D I do really like her coloring on her head. What an interesting name for her, how did you happen to choose it? :tort:

Classical Studies and History were two of my majors in college, so I thought picking an historical name would be a good reflection of me. My first thought was of getting a turtle rather than a tortoise, so I thought the naval connection kind of fit. The name kind of stuck even after I fell in love with a "land" creature. Although, I actually just call her "precious" a lot.
