When I was first looking at the pictures, I was envious that your girl was outside, so I checked where you lived. I do really like her coloring on her head. What an interesting name for her, how did you happen to choose it?

Classical Studies and History were two of my majors in college, so I thought picking an historical name would be a good reflection of me. My first thought was of getting a turtle rather than a tortoise, so I thought the naval connection kind of fit. The name kind of stuck even after I fell in love with a "land" creature. Although, I actually just call her "precious" a lot.
