Plant growing lamp light...

Would it be alright if I added a small growing lamp light in the enclosure of my sulcata tortoise? Has anyone else done this so grass can grow inside ?

Many people grow grass and other plants in seed trays (in green houses or on window sills etc), so that when ready they can sink the tray in the substrate and when it is eaten they can just remove it and put a fresh tray in. That would probably be easier and cheaper.
I don't know what affect the extra lamp would have on your temps or your tort. He would probably trample most of what you grow.
Can you post any pics of your enclosure? Then members would be able to answer your question based on the space your tort has.
