I noticed my neighbors yard is sprouting lots of weeds. I have her a call and asked her if I could pick her weeds for my tortoises. She loved the idea because well, she doesn't like to pull weeds LOL. So here are some of the things in her yard.
I accidentally barely touched this wicked looking thing and it stung like hell fire on the back of my finger. If this IS edible, how could anything eat something so pokey? Lol

They're all edible until you get down to the next one after the "viney-looking plant", which is edible - chickweed.

I think the first one is called prickly sow thistle. Then wild mustard (not palatable and not eaten much, but edible). That "big old thing" might just be another picture of prickly sow thistle. The viney plant is chickweed. The next, the daisy-looking one is not edible. The next one, isn't blue bonnet. It's either creeping charlie, or purple dead nettle, which is not edible.

The first prickly one is sort of tall where *** the "big ol' thing" is flat against the ground. They may be the same plant? They so both have prickles. How on earth do torts eat those prickles?

I've always wondered the same thing, and therefore won't even allow mine to eat it.

I just noticed my typos and can't edit. I missed my 5 minute window. Oops.
