I live in central Ohio and fall is on its way. I am trying to find some indoor plants that I can offer to my sulcata tortoise during the winter months. I have some potted petunia's that were potted at the beginning of the summer in non-organic potting soil. They have not been treated with any pesticides and/or fertilizers all summer. My question is, is it necessary to repot in organic soil or has the rain throughout the year already depleted any harmful chemicals that may have been present. Thank you for any insight.
