plants for the enclosure

Our outside enclosure is in partial shade to shady. What are some good plants besides hosta to plant out there?

Also we have a bunch of weeds in our yard, my DH called them Dollar weed, also i think called pennywort. It this edible?

I always put some creeping Jenny in mine. They can walk all over it and not do any damage. I also have some ornamental grass that the little boxies like to sit under.

I use irish moss and putenias other than that I have wild field grass near wear I live and I use that also. I also use herbs. from rosemary to lemon tyme. Herbs are great. If you want one that grows tall try a fennel herb. Start from seed on the fennel. Also basil is a great ground cover and my redfoots love it.
