Hi there,

I've recently noticed my greek tortoise (around 4 months old) to have the edges between scutes to be raised higher than the middle area. (sort of like "reverse pyramiding").

Can someone help and tell me if my tort is pyramiding? I hope not because I have raised my other (7 yrs old) the same way and he is fine.

Soaks everyday
Diet: mixed greens (not those iceberg lettuce, etc.) with calcium supplements
Enclosure: UVB, Coconut coir substrate, humid box, hot warm area, cooler area

Here are some pictures.

Thanks in advance!

The tort looks great. I see absolutely zero signs of pyramiding on this little guy.

New growth kinda swells from the hydration then flattens out. No worries. ;)
