I have a very large, 2 story Turtle enclosure that I call the 'Playturtle Mansion.'
In it are 2 Northern Boxes and 2 S. American Wood Turtles that roam round amongst the 7 'bedrooms'.
Both pairs were hatchlings from the same litter, and all 4 have been living happily together for over 8 years.
When one goes exploring at dawn, it's brother or sister goes with them, to keep them in sight.

Keeping the "Mansion' odor free has been a challenge, getting rid of the ammonia smell.
I'm careful not to use soaps or chemicals, and wipe everything down with plain hot water.
I've seen an ad for POOPH Odor Eliminator for cats and dogs, and was wondering if I could use that to wipe down the walls and floor.
I see it's okay for mammals, but wasn't sure about reptiles.

Thanks....

I've used OdorXit on my dogs, but never my reptiles. I don't know if/how it will affect them. Kinda curious myself.

I've had to keep some turtles and tortoises indoors occasionally and I must say, I've never had an odor problem. . . even with many animals in the same enclosure. I'm wondering if maybe you're not providing enough water for them.

It would be great to see some pictures of your setup and turtles.

That pooph is supposed to be even human safe, the guy squirts it in his mouth. If you can believe it's not just water.
I'm not sure it would be so dangerous is you used it and then wiped it off
But I don't really know when it comes to tortoises or if it's that safe for dogs and cats, I've never used it

This is the staircase from the first to second floor.
The square center has a lid, and that's the Master Bedroom...
;)

Do they have water to swim in? They are not supposed to be kept so dry. They need substrate that is damp and water pool to swim.
