Teesh, I strongly recommend you get a meter under that bulb. Not using a meter to test your UV levels is equivalent to not using a thermometer to test your temps. Actually, a human can sort of feel the temp and make a guess, but we can't see the UV, so my analogy isn't even all that great. I don't know where you guys are, but perhaps you could borrow a meter for a day?

The box info is a good baseline, but experience has taught me that every enclosure is different. There is no substitute for actually measuring the UV output of your own bulb in your own enclosure.

The bulb might not be an issue at all. Those are great bulbs. But only a UV meter will tell you for sure what you've got there.
