I want to give the turtles some pumpkin seeds, but do I need to crack them first? I'd like to use them as a dewormer AND a healthy treat (FYI, as far as I know, they don't have worms:confused: ) Let me clarify- I found a bunch of threads about pumpkin seeds being a natural dewormer, but I couldn't fins a single thing on how to serve that... like cracked? Whole? Powdered?
Thanks :)

I plan to grind my seeds in with the emat if the pumpkin and feed it to the gang.
Will toss it in the blender. :)

Would that take away any deworming properties? (is the seed shell even edible?) :D
