So I'm personally convinced Echo looks like she's still pyramiding BUT I don't know. I'm not sure if it's just her growing and there for the pyramiding looks more defined or what. Take a look at this picture, on the left is her at the pet store when we bought her back in late May early June. She was looking shabby. On the right is her just now. (she really mean mugs me when I come around!) what do you think?

She will still look pyramided. It doesn't go away. You can get the new growth to grow in smooth and then hopefully when they are adults the pyramiding won't be so noticeable, but it will still be there.

BTW yours looks so slight, that it probably will not be as noticeable when older.

Luchious, ya think so? That's good to hear.

Wellington, thank you for the relief! I wish she didn't have any at all. I know it isn't painful or anything to her it just makes me sad knowing she had poor care before us.
I think owning a tortoise has made me as paranoid as having a daughter did. Goodness!
