Pyramiding

1409151668018.jpg 1409151709110.jpg Hi I was just wondering what to do to stop pyramiding becoming worse, I don't think Timothys is that bad but to me looks like he has definitely got the start of pyramiding!

Yes, however ever so slightly. A more moist or humid environment will help.

Just a little, That is very mild though :D Misting daily and giving more frequent soaks should put an end to that!

Ok, thankyou, I do soak him everyday and when I'm not at work I make sure it's humidity is good, it's just when I'm at work It drops, I'll have to get someone to pop in and spray around for me :)

if your misting often and the humidity is good, try adding Vita-shell to your regiment. a thin coat applied weekly will help subdue the minor pyramiding that has started. It will not eliminate what is already there but new growth will be smoother.

...or cover or partially cover the habitat and wet the substrate more than just misting it.

I've already got half the habitat covered and kept wet, I'll try some vita-shell :) thanks for the help people
