Hi everyone..
Im a lot into tortoises...
I have been having Desert tortoises for about 10 years now..

Yesterday my girlfriend came up to me with a little present..
It was a sulcata....
I really love them, they seem to be amazing species..
I have read the caresheets, just to make sure what will be the difference in the care between my desert tortoises and this new tortoise...
What seems to be the most different thing is that sulcatas do not hibernate....
Can someone please help me out on this? ... Im planning to make an outdoor enclosure with a safe humid burrow...
I live in the sonora desert, so right now its warm and nice outside, but ... whats going to happen on winter?
Should I leave this litle guy outside? ... or should I bring him inside?
Thanks a lot everyone! :)

You need an outdoor enclosure for nice days and an indoor one for nights and cold days. Both should be large and have everything he needs.

Click the links in my signature for more info on housing and raising them.

Gotta keep him inside when it's cold out. Won't be outside full time until after 6 or 8 inches.
