So my current table that my closed chamber sits upon is disintegrating before my eyes since it was $20 and from ikea (good ol' particle board) and it doesn't stand the weight or humidity at all. I keep my chambers out in my screened in patio since its easier for me to keep my temperatures correct rather then using higher wattage bulbs constantly. I remember someone from Texas posting a picture of their ant proof outdoor enclosure, but I can't seem to find it for the life of me. For the better part of three hours I've been trying all types of google and forum searches, but alas, no luck. If the OP could send a link to the thread, or some other very kind member could send me a picture of what they currently use outdoors it would be AWESOME of them.

Thanks!

DE, like what ascott recommended is great. I use it against ants all the time. You can put it around the legs of the table and no ants will climb up.

Thanks for that, guys. I do use food grade DE powder in my outdoor enclosures, and in my patio I have no issue with ants.

I mainly wanted to get a picture in my head to recreate the Texas ant proof table so I can place my vivarium on it. Something sturdy that can bear the weight. I remember the design being for ants, but I'd like to just utilize it as a really nice design that I can base my own sketches off of. I'm not much of a carpenter, but I'm sure as heck going to try.
