We planted our small flower garden the other day. We gave Ralph some petunias but he didn't want anything to do with them. So we left them out in the flat they came in while we worked on the garden. About 1/2 later, Ralph had eaten over half the flat, all the watermelon seedlings that were about 2 inches high, A LOT of the Elephant Bush.

He tricked me into thinking he didn't like them!! :p

They are now all planted in a raised flower bed so he can't get them. In another year or two, though, he will be able to reach them.

This weekend we are getting a grape vine and I'm hoping he will like the leaves. We are also planting strawberries, cucumber, squash, zucchini....can he eat the leaves? I know not to give him strawberries, well, not often anyway. He gets ONE strawberry a month as a treat.

That is so cute! Charlie is very STUBURN-- he will make Matt feel horrible by scattering his food all over the place and ignoring it until we give him a piece of butternut squash. Then he will attack the spring mix
