Thanks!!

I could swear you said, "Emyemy, where could I get that medication?" That's why I answered.

Well I talked to my vet. I'm going to get my terramyacin tomorrow given that the vet (another vet) thinks I need it.

Yvonne, I originally did haha. You caught me!

Thanks for the nice comment on cooper! He's so goofy and spunky! I got that when I had my camera, taking pictures of my snake and he suddenly started barking. I turned the camera and snapped and TADA! :)

Just left this vet. He prescribed me baytril (orally) and tobramyacin (into eye).

Any tips on coercing tortoise to let me put the tobramyacin on?

Thanks again!

P.S. Total vet bill = $88.03 :)

Hold the tortoise facing away from you and bring the tube up from behind and above and run a thin line along the eyeball. If you have a steady hand he won't even know you did it. Just run a thin line along the eyeball, he'll then close his eye but that's alright cuz you got the stuff on his eye! Congrats...yeah I know a Vet bill can cause human heart attacks, been there done that!!...The Baytril will be harder...

Maggie, you're right. The eye medication is easy. However the baytril, which isgiven orally, is proving quite the challenge.
