I everyone,I have a 8 and 9 year old redfoot that are a breeding couple,I've only just bought these, the previous owner told me they legs every 2 to 3 months and they last in feb, they've been humping about 2 days lol,and 2 days ago she was displaying signs of wanting to lay but now she's gone back to her normal self and she didn't lay any,I'm concerned she might be holding onto her eggs but I'm not to sure as this will be my 1st clutch, any info would be great thanks Becky

She may need to settle for a couple of years in her new home.

I've not bred any, but the Library, linked below, has a couple good articles on it done by breeders. They won't answer all the questions, but they are a start.

Hopefully one of the bigger RF breeders will come along and help!

RF’s usually lay about 21-30 days after copulation. Once she is accustomed to her new home and viable mate , if all goes well you will see her lay 30-45 days thru out the season ( depending on your area and other factors) which is around 3-5 times ( in my area) and possibly even more per year.
