"rescuing" an odd looking golden greek

Im getting a golden geek tortoise tomorrow night however, it looks quite odd. The girl im getting it from seems to really care for it but doesn't have he time to look after it, but when I saw it it just didn't look right so I jumped at the chance to give it a better home. I need advice on care for it. I will have pictures up as soon as I get it.
