So, I purchased the seed mix from Carolina supply. Man, this stuff grows fast! After two days, we have a lot of stuff sprouting up :)

My husband insisted on putting one of the containers in Tina's enclosure. I warned him! Now, I get a message from him saying all the tops have been bitten off and eaten! Lol!! Got in my daily "I told you so".

I purchased the Russian seed mix from Carolina pet supply. I haven't planted it yet. I was planning on planting the seeds outside of her enclosure ( it's outside) on a little patch of dirt I have. I am worried if its in her enclosure she will eat right up. Did you plant yours outside?

I planted it in little trays outside of the enclosure, but still indoors. I tried to tell my husband that she would eat it right away if he put it in there, and he insisted she wouldn't see it in the trays because they would be a couple of inches up off the substrate. Needless to say, all that is left in that tray are some sad looking stems :)

That's what I thought! I planted some cantaloupe plants and endive and they lasted a whole 2 mins. Completely down to the dirt.
