I live in Maryland and I cannot find a place that sells cactus pear fruit for him or any kind of plants! Can anyone help? I'm currently feeding him kale, collards and romaine but I want to switch it up some and give him new things to try but I can't find anything anywhere. Thanks!.

Actually, a russian tortoise doesn't really need cactus pear fruit. They should only be given any kind of fruit very sparingly, as a small bite occasionally.

You can buy dark, leafy greens from any grocery store. When their natural grazing is sparse I will buy things like endive, escarole, turnip greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, spring mix - all these things are available at my grocery store in the produce section.

Think about planting a mulberry tree or some grape vines.
