Russian needs home

My wife and I were adopted by Pete, a Russian tortoise who's been living here now for several months. We've made sure he has burrows, shade, water and food, but are dealing with unexpected medical issues which force me to find him a new home. We're in the Coachella Valley, and hope to find someone in Southern California with experience and know-how to keep Pete in a good life.
