All I know is that it is a succulent. Anyone able to identify it for me, and is it safe for my tortoises?

It's a jade plant.

A quick check - said it's safe.

Thank you. It was bought at my local garden shop that grow a lot of their own stuff to sell. But to be safe, (since it is a safe plants for my tortoises,) it will be planted for awhile in my "holding" garden. To give it a chance to detox.

If the typical systemic pesticides were used, it will take a year for it to "detox".

Succulents are very easy to grow. If you can find an older well established plant, it is very easy to take cuttings and put them in some soil and start your own.
