Hello, this took me a whole day to build, and 3 after sealing, etc. He seems much happier in this than in his aquarium that we rescued him out of.....

Demensions, 2'Wide x 4'Long x 2'High. A Cave for a hide, that he hasn't discovered yet (He just burrowed in the soil tonight, but has not found his Cave!

This thing is huge and butt ugly, but does the job. I am proud!

Wish us luck on the vet visit Friday, runny nose...... :(

Very nice!! I would try to figure out how to hang the lights instead of clamping them. Its safer, and the "rays" would be going straight down instead of at an angle.

Very nice! A lamp stand is the easy solution, and then you can easily adjust the height too. What kind of bulbs do you have? The more hides the better. Even a large hay pile, a fake plant, or a box do great. Besides the cool hide, I focus on one in a moderate temp zone, and one right next to the basking spot. Did you bump up the temps a few degrees for the runny nose? Good luck!

Right now, I'm using a UVB bulb and a ceramic heat emitter, the basking temp ranges from 88 to 103 depending on the room temp.
