Sand?

I have a Russian that constantly scratches the walls trying to burrow.... is it an option to set up a burrowing pan using sand???

Sand is too much of a risk for inpaction. What is your current substrate?

Why is sand dangerous

It causes impactions, and it’s a skin, nose and eye irritant. What’s you’re substrate? You should already have an enclosure with 4+ inches of damp substrate.
