Scuttles skin peeling

My baby has some skin peeling under his her chin. Is this normal?

Yes, as long as the skin under the peeling skin shows no injury then yes...reptiles do shed their skin as they grow....:D

Yup, all reptiles will do some form of shedding....tortoise just don't produce those awesome hollow snake type pieces of art as snakes do....

100% normal, especially for a growing tortoise. They shed in bits and pieces, not like snakes, etc. Do NOT try to peel off shedding skin, you could tear the new skin underneath! Just let nature do its thing :)

Very normal..most shed their skin around this time of year. If you give them an extra soak it will come off quicker
