She keeps nesting

My one female dug three holes today. Each one was empty. How many times will she dig and does it last a few days?

From what I have read, I have no egg laying experience, they can dig quite a few test holes. Keep a close on her though, make sure she acts normal and she does not become egg bound.

This is normal. She might do this 20 times over a week before she finds the spot that she feels is "just right".

... or she might lay in the very next hole.

Sounds normal. Just make sure she doesn't stop eating or anything like that. Keep us posted on how she is doing.
