Sally has been home for a week now. She is eating, pooping, and peeing well. I have been soaking her two out of three days. We just put in a ZooMed Powersun MVB (EXPENSIVE...WOW!!) today. Yesterday, while soaking, I noticed some spots on her shell that seemed dry and a bit like a slitting fingernail around the edges. Am I being an overprotective mom, or does anyone see here anything I should worry about? Also, is it normal to be able to kind of see the spine down her back (near her head)?

She is on tropical cypress mulch (was told that was what to use for reptiles?), and her old bulb for basking ranged 92-95 degrees and the room temp is 76-78 during the day and 65-67 at night. With her new bulb I need to get a new digital thermometer, but it is the ZooMed Powersun 100 watt about 11 inches away. I figured it is ok temp wise because she will bask at times and then walk around and even go into her hide every now and then.
