Unusual spots on shell?

hopefully these are nothing, but I just wanted to see if anyone had an idea.
Margie has a few of these spots on her shell. You can feel them when you run your finger across and can catch your fingernail on them.
They are the 3 lighter spots.
Almost like a tiny barnacle.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Without being able to see it in person, I can only guess, but it looks like it may be little chips out of the keratin, in other words, the top layer has been chipped away, showing the white bone underneath. I have no idea what could have caused this - rough 'play' between male and female, pebbles being dropped on him, there's no way to know for sure. At any rate, it's nothing to be worried about.
