I contacted immediately with my vet and isend her photos in her viber l! She told me it's like our nails and maybe he had a fall! She told me she doesn't sees any concern! Does anyone know if this is a shell rot and what can I do? I think it's not good! My vet told for Starr to send feces sample and x-ray!

Hello! I see nothing concerning on the recent photo. Shell rot is not common among temperate species like Greek tortoises and usually starts from the plastron (bottom part of the shell). It looks like a small chip because of bumping on a stone/wall when climbing or going backwards. But wait for the second opinion, please.

An x-ray and fecal analysis are for the general health check-up, I guess.

I asked for blood analysis but my vet told me first feces and x-ray! Generally I don't see any signs of worrying! Both they eat and my male eats a lot! I don't see any pink or red lines too! Not lethargy too! I will send samples for parasites just to check if everything is ok!

Your vet is probably right. Doing "blood tests for everything" is expensive and meaningless.

Good to know, that your tortoises are doing well!

If you have two and are keeping them together, a lot of unfortunate events can and probably will occur, to either or both tortoises, and one will likely hurt the other. Also, I don't see anything else for you to be concerned about, from the pictures.

Tammy...Happy New Year!
I was going to say exctly what you said. It is bad to keep 2 tortoises together, but you beat me to it... That looks like a scrape on a rock or something hard...Male and female get kinda violent in the 'act', Look at her carapace and see if there's a mark, maybe he got it during mating...bu it isn't something to worry about. He needs to separate the 2 before more bad could happen....

I don't see anything that concerns me in the pictures. Looks normal and fine.

Tortoises should never live as pairs.
