OK gang. This is going to be very embarrassing as I cannot make pretty enclosures like for instance Jeff. Being as this is the PacificNorthWest, the weather is always crappy and there are predators. So I have to have indoor enclosures as well as out. I only have one good hand and the other one ain't too great. But I figure if whatever it is as long as it does it's job I pretty much don't care what it looks like. So I made Maggie's version of Tom's fancy closed chambers.....I guess that's enough pictures. When I first set it up I had plants and moss and all kinda fancy stuff. The plants were either squashed or eaten and all the cool stuff was moved around, so I gave up on making it pretty. They can get all the flowers and weeds outside. They only sleep in here anyway, mostly.

Thanks....I know it's kind of funky, but it has all the right stuff, and it's so easy to keep the temp and humidity steady.
They also have just a box with a hide and substrate on my deck now that were having sun......they've been going out daily. If was fun to see the first reaction to grass.
I was weeding in the front with one of my adult Gopherus on the grass and I forgot him, and he went on a walkabout down the street. All the sudden a dog is freaking out bad, and some lady starts hollering help help.......had he not be held on that lease my tort would have been dog lunch, no doubt. That dog wanted that tort so bad the lady could almost not hold onto the dog. And it happened to an experienced keeper in just a minute. No dogs with torts, that's just the way it is

All that matters is that it works for the tort and that enclosure is very functional! You did a good job.
