Small bites?!

Watching Tank eat today is terrifying. Green beans and Mazuri, he's gulping them down! Do other sullys eat like that? I took a green bean from him because I was afraid he would choke himself...

They can have green beans. Not often, in small quantities.

I use whatever veggies we have on hand to supplement the torts and birds diet. With a rotation of spring mix, cactus pads, and weeds. Green beans didn't set off any warning bells. But he looked like he was going to swallow a piece whole! I suppose it's cause he likes them, then he proceeded to attack the Mazuri in the same fashion. I guess he was just hungry, but geez...
