The colors on your babies are always so beautiful! Do you have any pictures of any when they're older? Do the colors more or less stay the same?

I know there is an old thread about this but …if your plumie didn’t freeze more than likely it was "stem rot" .....99% of the time ....aka " too much water" ...I have a super hot tip about watering "special need plants " and or indoor specimens. Not only does it make it easy to regulate the watering amount and make sure it is consistent, but it also aides in a potted plant …all potted plants - The fact is when we water our potted plants all of the nutrients get flushed to the bottom of the pot and or collecting tray....thus over time your plant is living in a "dry-soil" by that I mean very little nutrients the plant needs to flourish. The 2nd neat thing with my trick ....is no mess , in building custom homes for years ...the plants in models needed to be watered and as a young "gopher in the early 80's as an assistant superintendent part of my job was to make sure the models were ready to present to the public -plants included. ( they are a huge seller/gimmick for new homes). 3rd bonus was no need to carry around a water bucket and have to re fill it constantly ...Ok ready?
I will spill the beans ....
you use " Ice Cubes" ;)

OMG that's genius!! With your description, I over watered! I have 3 successful ones! I'll take pics in the morning. So I just dump a handful of cubes into the pot?
