Hi.... I have a 3 year old leopard tortoise and tonight I could hear him breathing from across the room. It appears to have stopped now and he's getting settled for the night. Should I be concerned??? Any advice is welcome please!

Keep a close eye on him and I would raise the enclosure temp to around 85 for a few days to a week. This is if you hear it again. Sometimes, they seem to just be louder. I recorded mine breathing, it seemed loud, but was just his normal breathing.

He night have been trying to get more air, which is a tip off that he has problem with lungs/windpipe. Does he do it a lot?
He could be snoring :D!!

Thanks for replies.... It's only really been tonight for a couple of minutes, but I will keep an eye on it and keep him warm

Def. keep an eye on it. It could be nothing, but if it develops into constant open mouth breathing, then you will have to go see a vet.
